Aaron's Review
Jack is back!
24 returns to television for the first time in almost 5 years, and it's fallen right back into its former glory.
Tons of action, twists, and soap opera-like drama appear throughout the first two episodes.
This is something that fans of the show have come to expect, myself included.
Lots of small storylines are being set up in order to create compelling subplots since the primary plot as of now isn't that different from previous seasons (a possible assassination attempt).
Kiefer Sutherland falls back into the role of Jack Bauer effortlessly, as does his cohort Mary Lynn Rajskub reprising her role as Chloe O'Brian.
Newcomers to the series Yvonne Strahovski, Benjamin Bratt, and Tate Donovan all contribute to the success of this new incarnation, and as a former fan I have nothing but excitement for what's to come!

FINAL VERDICT: SEE IT!

Sean's Review
Fans of 24 will be happy to know that the new FOX limited series 24: Live Another Day is completely within the mold of the show's first eight seasons.
In fact if anyone thinks that the show will try something different after a four-year hiatus, they'll be mistaken.
The only change this time around is that the show covers twenty-four hours in a single day, but will cover it in only twelve episodes.
Otherwise, day nine is just like the first eight, and if the first two episodes are any indication of what is to come, a pretty compelling and exciting one.
This limited series brings back favorite characters, of course Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland in a signature role) and Chloe O'Brien (Mary Lynn Rajskub), and introduces some interesting new ones.
The first hour of the two-hour premiere is devoted almost solely to Jack and Chloe, and the second hour introduces the main plot and villains that will drive the events of the day.
24: Live Another Day is a welcome return to a classic series, and is just as exciting as where we left it four years ago.

FINAL VERDICT: SEE IT!

Rachel's Review
Robert Cochran and Joel Surnow, co-creators of the original television series 24 that ran from 2001 to 2010 have teamed up to create an additional 12 episodes of 24, entitled 24: Live another Day.
The structure and premise of this show are a continuation of the previous series with multiple returning cast members.
Kiefer Sutherland continues to be excellent in his performance as the strong, stoic, moral, and emotionally tormented Jack Bauer.
Yvonne Strahovski as agent Kate Morgan is a welcome addition to the cast.
Her character is very capable and intelligent and a fitting match to Kiefer.
It is a testament to good and agile writing that we are able to root for both Morgan and Bauer simultaneously although they begin the season working at cross purposes.
24: Live Another Day is fast paced, gripping and brilliantly suspenseful.
I would recommend a Wikipedia recap for anyone jumping into the show for the first time, but this is compelling television.
